SCREENPLAY REVIEW -- Rocky: Start

I have a BUNCH of screenplays that aren't produced. Most are Marvel & DC... however...

This one HAS to be one of the best. It's not Marvel, nor DC, but it is a GREAT screenplay. Written by Cambron Clark.

The story follows a young Sylvester Stallone... how he made Rocky... the issues that came with it... and his relationship with his fellow crew-members, and his then-wife Sasha Czack. The script in question is 122 pages long (not counting the title page), and is filled with humor, heart, and enough to get you fully invested in it all. From the time I am writing this, which is... 1:50 AM on September 24th, it looks like a film named "I Play Rocky" (which I doubt is going to use the screenplay Rocky: Start) is being created by the amazing Peter Farrelly... who has worked on such great films:

- Dumb & Dumber

- Me, Myself, & Irene

- and a film I like, but it's not great... "Osmosis Jones."

Anyways. This post is about the screenplay Rocky: Start. I don't want to spoil anything for anybody, but let me just say... it usually takes me about 10 or more hours to get through a screenplay. This script took me ONLY 2 hours. I read a little... put it down... got curious... kept on reading. This is mainly because I'm a sucker for the know-how of how films are made.

I believe if this screenplay was made into a real film -- it'd probably make a good chunk of change in the box office... I'd definitely watch it.

***** 5-out-of-5 stars for this script. I recommend EVERYBODY who loves ROCKY or just loves to write screenplays, to read this.

NOTE:       This is the first blog post I've ever done. Forgive me if it is poorly-made. Much love.
